Main Stand - one of the best in the league

Llanelli's main stand is one of the best in the League of Wales with a great view of the game from almost every seat. The club canteen is located in the bottom left corner of the stand and the Directors Suite "The Jock Stein Lounge" is situated in the bottom right hand corner.

Programme Guide (1999/2000):

Price: £1.50
No. Pages: 56

Lily's opinion:

The most expensive programme in the league, and although having a glossy cover and advertising inserts, the rest of the content is photocopied sheets. Good amount of reading inside with plenty of historical articles.

One of the best issues to come out of 'Stebo' for a while but a bit pricey at £1.50.

Lily's Jottings
A trip to Llanelli is always a good one for the football buff, regardless of whether your team wins or not. The ground is situated in a residential area about a mile from the town centre and has one of the best playing surfaces in the league. They have a large Social Club adjacent to the ground which has always been busy when Rhyl have played there. They also serve food which is handy to know if you're gasping for something to eat.  Should you wish to sample another Watering Hole, there's a pub called 'the Star' which is only a three-minute walk up the road.

Llanelli might be known as a rugby stronghold but you can really sense a passion for the round-ball game amongst their supporters. This trip is one of the highlights of the season.
