Lily's opinion:

Considering that the club is celebrating it's centenary season, I must confess to being a bit disappointed with Haverfordwest's programme. The reading content is substantially down on previous years and the quality of the print is not too hot either. Most of the heavy reading is gleaned from the league newsletter and the details submitted by the opposition.

There is an introduction, and an unusual feature worthy of note is the analysis of the previous game - with a breakdown for goals on target, corners, fouls, etc.

Lily's Jottings
It might be the longest trip of the season but it's well worth it! The club has benefited from a move funded by the sale of the old stadium to Safeways with a brand new purpose built stadium less than half a mile away from their old site. With one of the best surfaces in the league and a bar, canteen and club shop on the ground there is everything to cater for the football supporter's needs. They also have, and they don't really broadcast this, the best and cleanest toilet facilities in the whole league!

They do suffer badly by the proximity of the local by-pass to the ground. You often see several cars parked on the embankment watching the games for free and it is hoped that a solution can be found to this problem. I once heard one of those watching the game for free shouting encouragement to a player by name -  which is pretty scandalous.

Post-Match discussion is held at the Social Club which is located near to the old site.

One of the best setups in the league and one which many clubs should look to emulate.

Lily's 'Match Experience' Rating = 8/10
