Lily's opinion:

Without doubt one of the best value for money issues in the League of Wales with loads of up-to-date features and articles. Carmarthen have one of the largest print runs in the league and this justifies their policy of concentrating on content rather than glossy presentation - which so often fails to live up to expectation.

The success of this programme is due in large to the variety of articles featured - often from auspicious football personalities.

Lily's Jottings
Trips to Carmarthen have always been memorable affairs for one reason or another. Rhyl have generally played well there but haven't always had the rub of the green when it comes to results.

That can't be said about the off-the-field reception which has always been first class. They have a popular clubhouse based on the ground with Portacabins brought into action as temporary bars on matchdays to cater for the extra thirst of the supporters.

Indeed they have everything football fan could ever wish for with a club shop - stocking a large selection of club leisurewear - and a tea-bar serving snacks is also close to hand.

Their major failing however is the toilet facilities! Spectators have to share the toilets in the club house and as these are so small you often see a queue of people in the corridor with strained eyes and crossed legs waiting their turn!

The ground is situated close to the town centre and other pubs so if you arrive an hour before the match there is plenty of time to wander around. Saturday is traditionally market day, so with a good chance of picking up a bargain in the Market Hall why not try your luck!

It might be another long trip but you're guaranteed one of the warmest welcomes in the League. Give it a go!

Lily's 'Match Experience' Rating = 9/10
