Lily's opinion:

The Caersws programme is certainly one of the best in the Welsh pyramid, and has been so for a number of seasons now.

With a twenty-four page insert (packed full of information) in the centre of the programme and a neatly presented cover for only 80p it represents one of the bargains of the season. News, views, stats - you name it and it's in there! If you're going to Caersws make sure you don't miss out on a copy!

Lily's Jottings
The ground hasn't changed much since Rhyl's Welsh Cup game there in 1988. A new stand has been built with a terrace on either side but the rest is still the same and isn't really up to much by today's standards. The pitch is located in a field next to the River Severn and is around two minutes walk from the Village post-office.

A steel barrier surrounds the pitch but the ground itself is not enclosed and you can often see people walking their dog nearby and stopping to watch a few moments of the game!

The after-match hospitality takes place in the Village Club, about five minutes walk away from the entrance.

Always a nice friendly place to watch football with plenty of good banter thrown in by their regulars for good measure!

Lily's 'Match Experience' Rating = 7/10
